Clouds and heavy rain continue to dominate on Friday and early Saturday but by the middle of next week, the temperature could be as high as 30 degrees, according to weather bureau Buidenradar.
The weekend will be drier than of late with the best of the weather on Sunday. By Monday, the temperatures will begin to rise and the risk of rain will be minimal.
On Wednesday, it will be a bright sunny day everywhere but in the evening rain and thunderstorms are likely, Buidenrader said. The KNMI is less optimistic – it foresees just a 40% chance of sun on Wednesday.
Heading towards the end of June, the KNMI says there is a 75% chance of a switch to drier, warmer weather.
