Michael Jackson statue removed from Dutch McDonald’s forecourt
The owner of a McDonald’s restaurant in the Brabant town of Best has removed a 10 metre high statue of Michael Jackson from the fast food outlet’s forecourt because it could upset customers.
The statue was erected in front of the restaurant in 1996 but has been taken down, the franchise owner said, ‘because it is important to make sure all our guests feel comfortable.’

The removal of the statue follows the broadcast of the documentary Leaving Neverland, in which two men say they were sexually abused by Jackson as children.
The statue, which attracted flowers from fans on Jackson’s birthday, has been donated to his Dutch fan club.
