Coalition news? None today, reports Elsevier, because GroenLinks leader Jesse Klaver is having a ‘papa day’ with his kids.

Klaver agreed the daddy Friday with the three other parties in the Dutch coalition talks, the ruling VVD, Christian democratic CDA and liberal democrat D66.

‘Great, because I like spending time with my children best [on a Friday],’ the 30-year-old reportedly wrote in an email to GroenLinks party members. ‘Especially if it’s nice weather. After the weekend, we will continue with renewed energy.’

Last Friday, Elsevier points out, negotiations took place.
