Media management student to produce a porn film as work experience

A student of media and entertainment management at an Inholland college in the west of the country is making a porn film as part of a work placement scheme.

The student, named by regional broadcaster Omroep West as Karina Hagafiona Monica, wanted to do something different for her internship and asked porn star Kim Holland if she could work at her company.

‘I’ve worked in a sex shop for a few years so I am familiar with sex as a subject,’ she told the broadcaster. ‘I think producing a porn film will be fun.’ She will also write a company profile.

Surprise

Holland says she was surprised by the request but agreed to let the student produce a film. ‘My delightful intern is going to make a porn film,’ Holland said using the microblogging service Twitter.

A spokesman for the Inholland college group told RTV West ‘the internship with Kim Holland fits in with the course media and entertainment management,’ but declined to comment further.

The InHolland group, which operates in six Dutch cities, has been under fire in the past for poor standards in some courses, including its media and entertainment management degrees.
