Chinese firms to take over Saab

Chinese firms Pang Da and Youngman have reached agreement to take over Saab in its entirety, the car maker said in a statement on Friday.


The financially-strapped Swedish car group is currently owned by Amsterdam-listed Swedish Automobile, previously known as Spyker.
The Chinese firms are taking over all the shares in Saab for €100m, the statement said. The deal still has to be approved by the relevant authorities.
