No rush hour public transport in Rotterdam as strikes continue

There are no buses, trams or metro services in Rotterdam during Wednesday’s morning rush hour because of a strike by public transport workers.

Services are due to resume from 08.30. Workers are protesting at government plans to force them to cut spending on city-wide transport services by €120m.
Similar rush hour strikes will take place in The Hague on May 12 and Amsterdam on May 13.
