Police say they are concerned for the safety of a woman who went missing in Amsterdam after she was seen cycling with an unknown man more than a week ago.

Hajar, 29, left the Rai area in the direction of Buitenveldert last Sunday, October 4. Police said she and the man were riding a black ladies’ bike.

She is described as between 1.65m and 1.70m tall with dark curly hair and dark eyes. The day before she went missing she was wearing a tiger print dress and white New Balance shoes, but it is not clear if she was still wearing the same outfit when she left Rai.

“The police and Hajar’s family are concerned about her welfare,” a police spokesman said.
