Azurite in Delft, run by chef Mario Ridder, and Suis in Schin op Geul, near Valkenburg, both entered the guide at two-star level, broadcaster NOS reported.
Suis only opened at the end of April, after chef Ralf Berendsen left La Butte aux Bois to start his own restaurant.
The 7 new one-star restaurants are spread across the country: Nassau in Groningen, Le Epifaan in Veeningen in Drenthe, Wild Atelier at the De Echoput hotel in Hoog Soeren, Bij Sidney in Loenen aan de Vecht, De Cuijt in Mierlo near Eindhoven, Rozewied in Kortgene in Zeeland, and Ambrozijn in Valkenburg.
Le Epifaan is run by Jarno Eggen, who previously cooked at two-star De Groene Lantaarn in Staphorst before it closed. Rozewied’s chefs, Noëmie Haentjens and Ferdy van Rijswijk, also won Michelin’s Young Chef Award.
Matthijs Vrancken and Nouri Haj Romdhane of Brut172 in Reijmerstok won the sommelier award. Château Neercanne in Maastricht won the award for service.
De Librije in Zwolle remains the only three-star restaurant in the Netherlands, a rating it has held since 2004. Nelson Tanate now leads the kitchen following the death of co-owner and chef Jonnie Boer in April 2025.
No Amsterdam restaurant won a new star this year, and Daalder and De Juwelier lost theirs, AT5 reported.
In total, the Netherlands has 119 starred restaurants, the same number as last year.
