BAM buys pipeline firm A.Hak for €504m

Add as a favourite source on Google Add DutchNews as a favourite source on GoogleConstruction company BAM announced on Thursday that it had purchased Geldermalsen-based pipelines company A.Hak for more than half a billion euros.
A.Hak specialises in underground infrastructure, including heat networks and transport pipelines.
BAM said in a press release that it had acquired the company to better position itself in the growing Dutch energy market.
The acquisition “complements our existing capabilities with specialist expertise in transport pipelines and trenchless techniques,” BAM CEO Ruud Joosten said in a statement.
The construction giant paid €504 million for the acquisition.
A.Hak operates primarily in the Netherlands but also in Belgium and the United Kingdom. It earned nearly €18 million in profits in 2025.
