No trains to Amsterdam central station next weekend

Add as a favourite source on Google Add DutchNews as a favourite source on GoogleRailtrack operator ProRail has announced there will be no trains to or from Amsterdam central station on Saturday, October 3 due to maintenance works.
The timetable on Sunday, October 4 and Monday, October 5 will also be significantly altered. International trains to and from Germany will terminate at Utrecht.
The work is part of ongoing renovations at the capital’s main train station. Currently it services around 200,000 travelers per day, one of the busiest in the country. That number is expected to grow to 275,000 per day.
Platforms are being widened and staircases are being added to accommodate the increase.
ProRail advises anyone traveling to Amsterdam to check the NS travel planner.
