A hospital in Veldhoven had to be specially converted to meet the needs of a woman who delivered four identical boys.

Máxima MC announced the family was healthy and happy after an extremely rare delivery of quadruplets in the Netherlands.

The hospital is equipped to delivery triplets but had to be modified to accommodate a fourth baby.

The four boys were born at 29 weeks and are named: Adam, Amir, Hassan, and Hussein.

“This was the first set of quadruplets in my career, and I have been working at MMC for almost 18 years,” neonatologist Koen Dijkman said in a statement.

The family is originally from Gambia and has a history of multiple births, including several sets of twins. But according to the father, Lamin Sa,idykhan, this is the first set of quadruplets.

Saidykhan was allowed to cut all four umbilical cords. “I had never experienced that before, so it was very special,” he said in a statement.
