Thursday will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching up to 27° and Friday will be even hotter, according to weather bureau Weeronline.

On Friday the temperature will climb to between 30° and 33° inland, though coastal areas will be somewhat cooler thanks to a westerly sea breeze.

By the afternoon, however, thunderstorms, hail and strong winds are possible and a yellow weather warning is in place for Noord-Brabant, Gelderland and Limburg from 5pm.

Saturday will remain summery inland, with highs of 25° to 28°, though coastal areas and beaches will be noticeably cooler. On Sunday more cloud will build up and there could be showers on both days.

Next week is likely to be unsettled as well, with the likelihood of showers rising as the week progresses. Average temperatures are expected to dip below 20°, Weeronline said.
