British man, 22, held after fight at hotel near Schiphol airport

A British man has been arrested after five people were seriously injured in a fight at a hotel near Schiphol airport.
Dutch military police were called to the hotel on Sunday evening, where they stopped the 22-year-old man as he tried to flee the scene.
He is facing charges of attempted murder and serious assault after the five victims needed hospital treatment for their injuries.
“He appears to have attacked these people for no reason,” a spokesman for the border police force (Marechaussee) said. “We found them bleeding heavily and in a state of panic.”
