A warm week ahead with showers and plenty of sunshine

This week will begin on a grey note across the Netherlands, with plenty of cloud cover and the chance of scattered showers on Monday. Temperatures will reach around 13° or 14°, although coastal areas and the south of Limburg will feel a few degrees cooler.
Conditions will clear during the evening, leading to a chilly night with lows of 2° to 5°. Inland areas may see mist or fog developing overnight, with a risk of ground frost, according to weather bureau Weeronline.
Tuesday will bring a return to spring-like weather. After a misty start in some places, sunshine is expected to dominate for much of the day, with only a few fair-weather clouds. Temperatures will rise to up to 16° inland, though the coast and Wadden Islands will stay cooler at around 11°.
Wednesday looks set to be the warmest day of the week, with plenty of sunshine in the morning and temperatures climbing to between 16° and 19°. Cloud will increase later in the day from the west, with showers possible overnight into Thursday.
Showers will move eastwards on Thursday morning, followed by brighter spells and sunshine developing from the west. Highs will range from around 15° on the coast to up to 18° further inland.
The end of the week will remain unsettled, with sunny intervals mixed with occasional showers. Temperatures should stay pleasant for the time of year, at between 15° and 17°.
