This week will bring a mix of showers and sunshine, with the warmest weather expected on Wednesday and Thursday when temperatures may top 17° in some parts of the country, according to Weeronline.

Monday will be unsettled, with several heavy showers moving across the country, with a chance of hail and thunder. Temperatures will reach about 9° or 10°, with a moderate westerly wind, stronger along the coast. Rain is also possible later in the evening and night.

Tuesday will have a cloudy start, with some light rain possible in the east in the morning. The rest of the day will be dry with sunny intervals developing from the west. Temperatures will rise to between 13° and 15°, and could reach 16° in the south.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be sunny across most of the country. Temperatures will range from 15° to 18° on Wednesday, with the highest in the south. Thursday will be slightly cooler near the northern coast, but the south may still see around 17° in the afternoon.

The temperature will fall again towards the end of the week, with highs of 10° to 14° on Friday and over the weekend. The nights may turn cold, with temperatures locally close to freezing, but it should remain largely dry with some sunshine.
