Dutch producer Roshwita Larisha Bacha, who goes by the name Roselilah, has won a Grammy for her share in rapper Kendrick Lamar’s mega hit Luther at the annual ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend.

Lamar was awarded a Grammy for his biggest hit, which was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 consecutive weeks, making it Roselilah’s first number one in the United States. Lamar also won a Grammy for his album GNX, which includes Luther.

It’s the second time the 28-year-old producer from Utrecht has won the prestigious music award. In 2022, she became the first Dutch woman artist to win a Grammy for her co-production, alongside Lamar and Baby Keem, for Family Ties.

Utrecht-born Roselilah, who turns 30 this year, has been making music since she was 12 and began selling her beats in 2013 via Soundcloud

British singer Olivia Dean (26) won the Grammy for best newcomer while Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny won for best album. Debí tirar más fotos (I should have taken more photos)  is the first Spanish-language album to win the prize. Billie Eilish won for best song with Wildflower.
