Missing teenagers found following urgent appeal

Three teenagers from Sleeuwijk who had been missing since Wednesday night have been found following an urgent appeal on social media, police said  on X on Friday.

According to local broadcaster Omroep Brabant, the missing trio were a 14-year-old boy and two 13-year-old girls. Police have not confirmed their ages, or where they were found.

A spokesman for the Zeeland-West Brabant police unit confirmed the three were not found together but did not provide further details. The children are in good health and police are currently talking to them to find out why they ran away.
