Stormy weekend ahead with rain and cooler temperatures

The weather will turn unsettled this weekend, with Saturday expected to be the most turbulent day, according to weather forecaster Weeronline.
The weekend follows a colder, wet Friday with heavy rain and temperatures no higher than 13°, marking a clear shift after the milder start to the week.
On Saturday showers will move in from the west and spread across the country with afternoon temperatures remaining around 14° to 15°. Weather bureau KNMI has issued a code yellow weather warning for coastal areas because of the strong winds.
Sunday will bring more showers, but there will be more sunny intervals in between the rain, with similar temperatures of about 15°.
Looking ahead, next week will be more mixed. Monday and Wednesday could see some rain, but several days are expected to be largely dry with occasional sunshine. Temperatures will be milder, ranging from 16° to 19° midweek before easing back to around 15°, Weeronline said.
