Sunny weather and warmer temperatures forecast for the weekend

After several grey and chilly days, the weather will turn sunnier and milder this weekend, according to forecaster Weeronline.
Thursday will still feel cold, with highs of 14° in most areas and only 11 to 12° in parts of Brabant and Limburg, where cloud and light rain linger. The north will see brighter skies, with sunshine in Friesland and Groningen pushing temperatures up to around 17°.
Conditions will remain unsettled on Friday, with cloud and rain moving in from the southeast. From Saturday, however, the skies will clear and local ground frost is possible before the sun breaks through. Daytime temperatures will then climb to between 16° and 19°.
Sunday will again start chilly with patches of mist, but during the day the south could touch 20°, while the north stays closer to 16 or 17°. Apart from an isolated shower inland, it will be largely dry and sunny.
The start of next week is also expected to bring mild, calm weather, with average daytime temperatures around 18° and plenty of sunshine, though nights will remain cool with some misty patches.
The KNMI long term forecast suggests little change into October, but does say there is a 40% of rain and temperatures below average for the time of year.
