There is little immediate change to the current spell of unstable weather in sight, although Sunday morning will be sunny and bright, weather forecaster Weeronline said in its weekend forecast.

Friday and Saturday will see a mix of sunshine, cloud cover and showers with temperatures no higher than 20°. It will be dryer on Friday evening, but showers will break through again overnight and it will be windy on the coast.

Saturday will begin with showers although it will dry out from the west later in the day, bringing some sunshine. New clouds will move in from the north by evening and the wind will pick up, Weeronline said. Temperatures again will be no higher than 20°

Sunday morning will be bright and sunny, and a few degrees warmer, although cloud will move in from the west later, bringing more rain.

The beginning of next week will be a similar mix of sunshine and showers although it will become warmer towards the weekend, Weeronline said.

The KNMI long term forecast says there is a 60% to 70% chance of dryer, sunnier weather towards the middle of the month.
