Weekend weather: dry spells, some sunshine and some showers

July 25, 2025
PHoto: DutchNews.nl

The weekend will bring mostly dry and mild weather, with occasional showers and a mix of clouds and sunshine.

Saturday will begin with sunny spells and light winds, allowing temperatures to rise quickly to 23 or 24°. Cloud cover will increase as the day goes on, especially from the west, bringing a chance of light rain in the afternoon and evening.

Sunday will bring more cloud and a higher risk of showers, particularly inland, but there will be sunny spells.

On Sunday afternoon, clearer skies will spread from the western coastal areas, bringing brighter weather further inland by evening. A shift to a northwesterly wind will also bring slightly cooler air, with highs of around 21°.

The KNMI’s long range forecast suggests little change next week, with a mix of sunshine, dry spells and showers and temperatures in the low 20s.
