Umbrellas and sunscreen: changeable weather continues to August

The coming week will bring unsettled weather, with a mix of showers and dry, sunny periods across the Netherlands, according to weather bureau Weeronline.
Heavier showers are possible early in the week and again towards the weekend, but there will also be long stretches of dry weather, Weeronline said.
Daytime temperatures will mostly range between 20° and 23°, slightly cooler than usual for late July. However, when the sun breaks through, temperatures could rise to around 25°.
Monday will see considerable cloud cover with occasional showers, especially inland. Along the coast, there will be more sunshine, and on Monday afternoon the sun may briefly return from the west.
Later in the week, the pattern continues with periods of light rain alternating with sunny intervals and clouds. Looking ahead to the weekend, the outlook again includes the risk of heavier showers, though dry and sunnier periods are also expected.
The KNMI’s long range forecast suggests there is a strong likelihood of similar changeable weather well into August.
