The weather is set to change this weekend, after a warm and sunny Friday, when temperatures will reach up to 20° in places, according to weather bureau Weeronline.

Friday night will be chilly with clear skies and Saturday will also start out sunny although there will be plenty of high cloud.

Temperatures are also likely to reach around 20° but could be as high as 24° in sheltered parts of Limburg.

By evening, cloud will move in from the south and there will be a few overnight showers, ending a six week period with hardly any rain.

Sunday will be a mixed bag of sunshine and showers and it will remain mild for the time of year, at between 16° and 18°.

Next week will be changeable and slightly cooler, Weeronline said.
