The Netherlands is in for a dry and sunny weekend although the days may start off misty or overcast in places, according to weather bureau Weeronline.

Temperatures will rise to no more than 7°, and the nights will be chilly with several degrees of frost. “One thing is certain. You can leave your umbrellas at home this weekend,” Weeronline said.

The dry, chilly weather is set to continue for the coming days, but there could be some rain on Wednesday. The temperature at night will hover around freezing point, and during the day it will range from 5° inland to 8° on the coast.

The KNMI’s long-term forecast says there is a 60% to 70% chance of the dry weather with sunny spells continuing well into February.
