The Netherlands is set for at least two warm, sunny days to kick off the week, but there may be occasional showers and cloud again by Wednesday.

According to the KNMI weather bureau, Monday and Tuesday will have blue skies and sunshine, with temperatures as high as 27° in sheltered places.

Wednesday will be warmer still but there will be more cloud and a 30% chance of rain, the KNMI weather bureau said. Thursday will be slightly warmer and rain is more likely. There is a similar picture up to and including the weekend although the sunshine will be less frequent from Friday.

Heading into the second week of August, the temperature will drop again to the low 20s, which is normal for the time of year. Rain will also be more likely, but there will also be plenty of sunshine, the KNMI said.
