Trains cancelled around Utrecht for emergency repairs
Fewer trains are running between Utrecht and Leiden on Wednesday afternoon because of a points failure, train operator NS said.
Some rush-hour services between 4.30pm and 7.30pm are expected to be cancelled while repairs are carried out, NS said on its website.
Earlier in the day Intercity trains between Amersfoort and Utrecht were cancelled while a broken switch was repaired. NS advised passengers between Amsterdam and Utrecht to travel via Hilversum.
Normal services are expected to resume on the line after 3pm.
