The Netherlands now has 103 one-star Michelin restaurants
In total, 17 new restaurants have been awarded a Michelin star in the Netherlands and one – Vinkeles in Amsterdam – has gone up from one star to two.
The Netherland now has 103 restaurants with one star and 20 with two. Just two Dutch eateries have three stars: De Librije in Zwolle and Inter Scaldes in Kruiningen.
The Netherlands has only had two three-star establishments since 2019, when De Leest in Vaassen, closed its doors because the owners wanted to spread their wings.
This year nine restaurants lost their star or stars, often because they had closed down.
RTL Nieuws has an interactive map highlighting the locations of all the Netherlands’ starred restaurants.
