The Netherlands can get ready for tropical weather this weekend, with temperatures expected to top 30 Celsius on Saturday.
Thursday will be sunny with very little cloud, and with temperatures reaching a maximum 25 Celsius inland and 22 Celsius on the coast.
Friday too will be warm and sunny and the temperature could go up to as high as 30 Celsius inland, Weerplaza said in its new weekly forecast. On Saturday, in the south east, it could be even hotter, at up to 35 Celsius.
On Sunday, however, there may be thunderstorms and it will be cooler in the north east, according to the KNMI weather bureau. Next week it will changeable, with temperatures in the low to mid 20s, and some rain at times.
