New foreign affairs minister Wopke Hoekstra has pulled out of a meeting with his European colleagues after contracting coronavirus.
Hoekstra went into quarantine on Wednesday and took a PCR test after one of his four children tested positive.
He said on Twitter that he had not developed symptoms and would continue to work from home during the self-isolation period.
Helaas heb ik een positieve testuitslag ontvangen. Ik blijf dus voorlopig in quarantaine.
De komende dagen werk ik vanuit huis. Gelukkig heb ik geen klachten.

Hoekstra had been due to travel to the French town of Brest this week for a meeting of European foreign ministers. On Tuesday he was in Brussels meeting EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell and Belgian foreign minister Sophie Wilmes.
He is the second member of the new cabinet to contract coronavirus this week, after his successor as finance minister, Sigrid Kaag, confirmed on Sunday she had tested positive.
