Rainy weather set to continue all week, and it will remain chilly
It may be mid May, but for the next week at least weather forecasters are not predicting any end to the wet and chilly weather.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be a mixed bag of showers, with some sunny spells and temperatures no higher than 14 Celsius, according to the KNMI.
Thursday, Friday and the Whitsun holiday weekend will also be overcast with rain at times, although the sun may break through on occasion. Temperatures will remain unseasonably low, at 13 to 16 Celsius.
Weerplaza too puts the Pinkster Monday temperature at no higher than 15 Celsius and says there will be strong winds over the holiday weekend.
However, from next week, there will be less rain and the temperature will rise slightly to around the seasonal average, the KNMI said.
And according to Weeronline ‘by the end of the month, there is a small chance of drier and warmer weather with temperatures up to 20 Celsius.’
