After this week’s rain and thunder, the weekend will be warmer with sunshine

There will be little change in the current wet and chilly weather for the coming days but by Thursday, it will be warmer and there is more chance of sunshine, according to weather bureau KNMI.

By the weekend, when it will be dry with sunny spells at times, the temperature during the day will have reached the low 20s, the KNMI said.

In the long term, however, there is a 70% chance that the current unstable weather will continue, with temperatures slightly below average for June, the KNMI said in its long range forecast.

Weerplaza too, says nothing definite can be said about the arrival of warmer weather, although there are indications that more sunshine is on its way. ‘But remember, the sun is always powerful at this time of year and it will feel a lot warmer out of the wind,’ Weerplaza said.

Weeronline paints a similar picture.
