Erik ten Hag to stay at Ajax, extends contract to 2023
Coach Erik ten Hag has extended his contract at Amsterdam football club Ajax by a year to the summer of 2023.
Ten Hag, 51, has been at the helm at Ajax since January 2018 but Tottenham Hotspur were believed to have their eye on him to succeed sacked coach José Mourinho.
‘I know what I have got here and I know the people I am working with,’ Ten Hag told the Ajax website. ‘And I know that we can take the next steps and I am happy here.’
