This year’s KNVB Cup final will take place on April 18 between Amsterdam football club Ajax and Vitesse of Arnhem.

Ajax beat Heerenveen 3-0 to clinch the second final place on Wednesday evening. On Tuesday, Vitesse put out VVV 2-0 in the first semi-final.

It is the 26th time the Amsterdammers, who last won the cup in 2019, have been in the final.  Vitesse won the cup for the first time in 2017.
