The current weather mix of rain and some sunny spells will continue over the weekend, although there may be some localised thunderstorms on Saturday, according to the KNMI weather bureau.

Sunday will also be wet and windy, with temperatures no higher than 14 Celsius in the south.

There is little change ahead next week, with the temperature dropping to between 11 and 13 Celsius, although the sun may reappear as Friday approaches.

The KNMI’s long term forecast is equally unsettled, giving just a 60% chance of a move to drier weather into the second half of October.
