Amsterdam football club Ajax had to be content with a 2-2 draw after giving away a 0-2 lead in their Champions League match against Italian side Atalanta.
Duván Zapata scored twice for the home side in in seven minutes as Atalanta fought back from two down in the second half. Dušan Tadić and Lassina Traoré scored the Ajax goals.
‘I am not happy with the point,’ Ajax coach Erik ten Hag told reporters after the game. ‘Seen from a European perspective, it is a good result, but we are not not doing as well as we could.’
Ten Hag also said the injury caused to Anthony following a hard tackle towards the end of the game did not appear to be serious.
The draw, plus defeat by Liverpool last week, mean Ajax are third in Group D with just one point. Next week they meet Danish side Midtylland.
