September is a mix of sunshine, showers and moderate temperatures
This weekend will be a mixture of sunshine and showers, with temperatures no higher than 20 Celsius in the far south, the KNMI weather bureau said on Friday.
The best of the weather will be on Saturday morning, when it will be dry and sunny in most places, but rain will move across the country in the afternoon, the KNMI said.
There will be less rain into next week, and it will be slightly warmer, but the mixed picture remains well into the month. There is only a 30% chance of warmer, sunnier weather, and an Indian summer, the KNMI said in its long range forecast.
