Dutch coronavirus death toll inches up by four, fewer people in intensive care
The overnight death toll from coronavirus in the Netherlands rose by four to 6,074, the public health institute RIVM said on Wednesday.
A further four people were admitted to hospital and 119 more people tested positive for the disease. That means 49,204 people in the Netherlands have had a positive coronavirus test.
At the same time, the number of people being treated in intensive care wards fell by five on Tuesday after rising by 14 over the previous three days. Around 100 coronavirus patients are currently being treated in ICUs.
