There are plenty of reasons to get stuck into the garden or your balcony this week, as the spring sunshine is set to continue, according to the KNMI weather bureau.

The temperature will continue to drop sharply overnight, bringing light frosts in many places, while during the day, the temperature will rise to around 10 or even 12 Celsius, the KNMI said.

There will be more cloud about from Thursday and on Sunday there may be some showers as the wind shifts to north easterly.

Nevertheless, although the nights will be less chilly, the pattern of sunny spells and cloud with the odd shower will continue well into April, according to the KNMI’s long range forecast.
