It’s going to be a grey Christmas: dreary weather ahead for the holiday week


After a wet day on Friday, the weather forecast for the holiday week is for cloud, rain and temperatures around 8 to 10 Celsius, according to the latest forecast by weather bureau KNMI.
Saturday will see the best of the weather in the next few days, with a 30% chance of sunny spells at times, before the grey weather sets in again.
By Thursday, the westerly winds will turn slightly, bringing more chance of sunshine, the KNMI said. Heading into the second holiday week, there is a 70% chance of dry weather with some sun, and a 50% chance of it turning colder.
