Stormy weather and strong winds set to hit the Netherlands as weather turns

Strong winds are set to hit coastal areas on Saturday, as the weather turns and fresher weather moves in next week, weather forecasters say.
While Friday will be warm with some sunny spells, thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon. Saturday will also be sunny at times, but the wind will pick up later in the day and could gust as much as 100kph in coastal areas.
Sunday will be a warm day with sunny spells and showers but by Monday, the summery temperatures will be gone, and the temperature will drop to below 20 degrees.
The KNMI’s long-term forecast is for changeable weather with temperatures below the seasonal average.
