Love is for everyone: Viktor and Rolf design Hema Pride t-shirt

Dutch duo Viktor & Rolf have designed this year’s special t-shirt for the Amsterdam Pride celebrations on behalf of high street store Hema.

The t-shirts, featuring the rainbow text ‘love is for everyone’ are available in a limited edition online and at 10 Hema stores in Amsterdam. The shirts cost €10 and all profits go to the COC campaign group which works for LGBT rights.

‘Working together with Hema during Pride means we can take an important message to a large part of the Dutch public – love is for everyone,’ the duo said.

Pride, which culminates with the traditional boat parade through the Dutch capital’s canals, starts in two weeks.

Hema has for years come up with a novelty item for the celebrations, including t-shirts featuring two hot dogs and two tompouce cakes and pink wedding cakes.
