The warm, sunny weather is set to continue on Monday, with the temperature rising to between 22 degrees on the Wadden Islands and 26 degrees in the south, with light easterly breezes.

However, cloud may start gathering in the south towards the end of the day, weather bureau KNMI said.

Tuesday and Wednesday will also be warm, but there will be more cloud cover and on Wednesday there could be some showers, the KNMI said.

From Wednesday onwards, the temperature will be lower with an increasing chance of rain. The forecast for Kings Day (April 27) is a mixed bag at present, with 70% chance of rain and 40% chance of sunshine.
