Warm sunny autumn set to continue, with a dip on Sunday
The temperatures could reach as high as 24 degrees in the south east of the country on Saturday as warm and sunny weather makes its return. There will be some cloud around but it will remain dry with temperatures averaging around 20 degrees nationwide, weather forecasters say.
On Sunday, however, the rain will return in the early morning. By the afternoon, the skies will clear but it will be no warmer than 14 or 15 degrees.
Next week it will be warmer again and by the end of the week, it will again be sunny with temperatures of around 20 degrees. And, according to the KNMI long-range forecast, there is an 80% chance of the warm, sunny weather continuing well into October.
