Weekend weather: a bit of a dip, but warmer next week again


The weather will take a turn for the worse on Friday and at the weekend, with showers and temperatures dropping to around 17 degrees in most places.
The sun will break through the clouds but there could also be some thunderstorms and strong winds on Friday evening, particularly in coastal areas, the KNMI weather bureau said.
Saturday will be mainly rainy, with temperatures as low as 16 degrees. The picture is similar for Sunday, although there will be more sun.
Next week the temperatures will begin to climb again, reaching 22 degrees by Tuesday, the KNMI said. It will be mainly dry.
