May 3, 2018

The Netherlands is set for a spell of warm and sunny spring weather although there may be ground frost on Thursday evening, as the temperature dips close to freezing point.

Both Friday and Saturday will be sunny, with temperatures on Liberation Day reaching up to 22 degrees in the south. It will remain cold at night, with temperatures around six degrees in sheltered placed.

Sunday will be warm – up to 25 degrees in southern areas – but there will be more cloud around. The picture is similar into next week, the KNMI weather bureau said.

The KNMI’s long-term forecast envisages more of the same, with the odd shower.
