A baby born after an on the spot emergency c-section in a bakery in Hulst has died, Omroep Zeeland reports.

The baby’s mother who went into cardiac arrest while at work in the bakery died last Wednesday, relatives said.

Three ambulance teams and a trauma helicopter were called to the scene at the time. The latter was prevented from landing because a drone was in the way.

The owner of the drone has since reported to the police who are investigating what happened during the event.
