It was a short spring – summery temperatures set to hit NL next week
Sunny days and temperatures of up to 25 degrees will hit the Netherlands next week, weather forecasters said on Friday.
The coming weekend will be dry with sunny spells, and temperatures reaching up to 21 degrees inland on Sunday. There could also be some localised storms.
By Wednesday, it could be as warm as 25 degrees in places – the highest temperature since August 30 last year – and the early summer is set to continue to next weekend, according to weather website Buienradar.
However, the KNMI’s long term forecast says the chance of temperatures dropping again by the end of next week is around 50%, and that the prospects for the coming weeks are very uncertain.
