Fewer Easter tourists set to hit the Netherlands this weekend

Some 850,000 foreign tourists are expected to hit the Netherlands this Easter weekend, around 100,000 down on 2017, the Dutch tourist board NBTC said on Thursday.
At the same time, some 400,000 Dutch people are set to go on holiday for a short break. Around half of them will remain in the Netherlands.
Most foreign tourists at Easter are from Germany and Belgium and together they are expected to spend €250m.
The weekend weather forecast is mixed, with rain likely, particularly on Monday. The best of the weather, with some sun, will be on Sunday.
