An area of low pressure above the Netherlands will bring cloud and rain over the next few days, weather bureaus said on Wednesday.

The temperature will drop and there will be blustery showers and possibly sleet on Thursday and Friday, according to Weerplaza. The temperature will drop to around 2 degrees and there may be overnight frost on Friday.

It will, however, be slightly warmer on New Year’s Eve although showers are likely. According to the KNMI’s long-range forecast, the changeable weather will continue into early 2018.
