Schippers: 200m Lausanne win and season’s best
Dutch sprinter Dafne Schippers has won the Diamond League 200m race in Lausanne and achieved a season’s best, reports NOS on Thursday night.
A month before the athletics IAAF World Championships in London, the broadcaster reports, she is shaping up.
‘I had to go at it a bit harder, and I did that here,’ she told the NOS, adding that she was pleased with her time. At 22.10 seconds, this is her ninth best run ever.
Schippers is set to run a Diamond League 100m match in London on Sunday.
